Protecting your private personal information is important to Aalborg Taxa. This privacy policy outlines the practices Aalborg Taxa applies when we collect, transfer, use, disclose, and store your personal information.

A. Collection of Information
A1. Visits to the website www.aalborgtaxa.dk
With the exception of IP addresses, you can generally visit www.aalborgtaxa.dk anonymously without providing any other personal information. Our web servers collect certain data, such as domain names and IP addresses, when computers access our websites.
In any case, this data is used only to ensure the functionality of the website. We may also process non-personal information, such as location and language, to help improve our website.
By using Aalborg Taxa’s website, you consent to Aalborg Taxa’s collection and use of this information.
A2. Information provided in connection with a booking
We collect, process, and store only relevant personal data for specific, lawful purposes that are necessary for us to complete your booking.
In addition, there may be conditions in a contract or other legal obligation that require us to register certain personal data.
If a booking is made by phone, the phone call is recorded in accordance with the data protection legislation. This is done for documentation of the booking, the agreements entered into, and quality assurance. Phone calls are stored for 3 months.
Emails containing bookings are stored for 12 months.
The application form for a senior card is shredded after 3 months. In connection with applying for a senior card, documentation that the applicant is receiving disability pension is required. This documentation and the rest of the application form are shredded after 3 months.
All trip data is passed on to the driver so the booking can be carried out, and after completion of the trip, the trip data is no longer accessible to the driver. All trip data in the booking system is anonymized after 18 months. All trip data, regardless of booking method, is stored for 5 years.
A3. Data in connection with the trip
In accordance with the applicable Taxi Act, photos are taken during the trip. The detailed GPS track is deleted after 13 weeks, while start and end coordinates together with addresses are stored for 5 years. The vehicle’s GPS track is logged throughout the entire trip. GPS data is deleted after 5 years.
B. Transfer of Information
No data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be secure, so any transmission is at your own risk. Aalborg Taxa strives to protect the transfer of information, but cannot guarantee against, and will not be responsible for, disclosure due to transmission errors or unauthorized actions by third parties.
C. Use of Information
Personal information from you as a customer will only be used by Aalborg Taxa for the stated purpose, as required for handling your information (bookings). Aalborg Taxa does not sell your personally identifiable information to any third party.
D. Disclosure of Information
In general, your information will only be used by Aalborg Taxa.
Aalborg Taxa may disclose your personal information if required by law, if we in good faith believe such disclosure is necessary, or in urgent circumstances where we believe disclosure is necessary. As described above, Aalborg Taxa will not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
E. Storage of Information
Aalborg Taxa will store information for as long as it is reasonable and necessary.
Aalborg Taxa takes precautions to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and misuse through administrative, technical, and physical measures.
F. Your Rights
You have the right at any time to be informed of which data we process about you, where it comes from, and what we use it for.
If you request it, we will inform you of the data we process about you. However, access may be restricted out of consideration for other persons’ privacy, trade secrets, and intellectual property rights.
If you believe that the personal data we process about you is inaccurate or no longer necessary for the purpose for which we collected it, you can have it corrected or deleted by contacting us. Information that we are legally required to keep cannot be removed until the retention period has expired—typically five years. We will delete your personal data on our own initiative when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Contact us if you believe that your personal data is being processed in violation of the law. In such cases, you have the option of submitting a complaint to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
G. Updates
Aalborg Taxa may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we change the policy in a material way, a notice will be posted on our website together with the updated privacy policy.
